What is DW?

Cypress Auto Rentals Damage Waiver (DW) Coverage is not insurance but a contractual waiver that lets Cypress Auto Rentals waive your responsibility for any loss or damage to the vehicle.*

By purchasing the DW, you authorize Cypress Auto Rentals to Charge you $27.99/Day. If anything should happen while the rental vehicle is in your possession, then you would simply be charged a $1000 deductible.

DW coverage includes but is not limited to:

Stone chips   Tire blowouts    Animal collisions   Parking lot damage

*DW is contractually void if you permit the use of the rental vehicle by anyone other than yourself or authorized additional drivers, intentionally destroy or aid in the theft of the rental vehicle, take or attempt to take the rental vehicle anywhere outside Canada, or engage in any willful, wanton, or illegal activity. If damage happens as a result of the above scenarios, you will be responsible for any damage costs, downtime for repairs, and any administrative costs, whether you purchased DW or not, and you will not be entitled to a refund.
